Brittany Diaz

Brittany grew up across the United States before landing in Emerson, Nebraska. This experience led her to meet a vast array of people from divergent walks of life which strengthened her belief in the importance of inclusion and understanding. From an early age, Brittany demonstrated a commitment to community service by volunteering to protect and support her neighbors. In October 2025, she joined the Nebraska Organizing Project as the Organizer for South Sioux City, where she is excited to collaborate with a passionate and insightful team dedicated to creating positive, lasting change. Brittany is driven by a vision of a world where everyone is heard and respected, regardless of differences culturally, economically, politically, or otherwise. Outside of her professional work, Brittany is a devoted stepmother to a toddler son, who inspires her to help craft a community where future generations can grow and thrive. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, playing with her dog, and exploring local parks.
