Champion the common good
Members are the engine of our organization—individuals who invest in NOP’s mission through annual dues and commit to taking action. Members don't just hope for change; they actively organize and build collective power in their communities to ensure everyone has a voice.
Membership Benefits:
- Participation in your home Chapter decision-making
- Eligibility to participate in Chapter committees and teams
- Attend events, trainings, and workshops for free
- Invitations to leadership opportunities, including out-of-state opportunities
Membership dues — the direct fuel for our local leaders, clearly demonstrating that the work we do is valued and essential to everyday rural Nebraskans.
- $5/month or $60/year for individuals
- $10/month or $120/year for households. (A household includes 2 adult memberships.)
For the benefit of our members and to ensure a safe and productive environment, we ask that all dues-paying members be 16 years of age or older.
Members must reside in Nebraska or the greater Siouxland area.
Business memberships are not a general practice for NOP.
- Paying membership dues grants individuals both local chapter decision-making power and eligibility for NOP board positions, ensuring their active participation.
- We recommend that business owners who align with the values and mission of our organization make a donation to support the work of NOP and/or pay membership dues to become a member.
If you would like to make a financial contribution to the Nebraska Organizing Project without becoming a member, please head over to our donation page.
Membership is on a rolling annual basis, granted for one year beginning on the day of a member’s most recent annual dues payment or from the start date of their monthly dues payment.
